This Shipping Policy outlines all the details regarding processing times, delivery methods, shipping costs, and other important information you need to know before placing an order.
1. Processing Time
- Order Verification & Preparation:
Once your order is placed, we will verify the details and prepare your dining bench for shipment.
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. - Custom or Special Orders:
If you have ordered a custom finish or a special edition bench, please allow an additional 5–7 business days for preparation.
2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
We work with trusted carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and USPS to ensure your items arrive safely.
- Standard Shipping (U.S. Mainland): 5–10 business days
- Expedited Shipping: 2–5 business days (extra charges apply)
- Oversized/Heavy Items: Some dining benches require special freight shipping, which may take 7–14 business days.
- International Shipping: Available to select countries. Delivery times vary between 10–20 business days depending on location and customs clearance.
3. Shipping Costs
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.
- Free Shipping Offers: Occasionally, Alexis Shop may offer free shipping promotions for certain products or order values.
- For large furniture items such as dining benches, a freight delivery fee may apply.
4. Tracking Your Order
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information. You can track your package in real time through the carrier’s website.
5. Delivery Information
- Residential Deliveries: Benches and large furniture items may require someone to be present to receive and sign for the delivery.
- Missed Deliveries: If the carrier cannot deliver your item, they may leave a note with re-delivery instructions. Additional fees may apply for re-delivery.
- Inspection Upon Delivery: For large items, we recommend inspecting your product at the time of delivery. If you notice any damage, please inform the delivery driver and contact us immediately.
6. Shipping Restrictions
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes for oversized items. Some remote or rural locations may require extended delivery times or additional shipping charges.
7. Delays
While we strive for timely delivery, delays can occur due to weather conditions, carrier issues, or supply chain disruptions. Alexis Shop is not responsible for shipping delays outside of our control.
8. Damaged or Lost Items
- If your dining bench arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos of the damage for review.
- If your package is lost in transit, we will work with the carrier to locate it or provide a replacement when applicable.
